Discussions (8)

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each Discussion. Each thread must be at least 600 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to the threads of at least 2 classmates. Each reply must be at least 450 words. Each thread and reply must include at least 2 current (5 years or less) peer-reviewed source citations, in addition to the course textbook, in current APA format. Each post also requires integration of at least 1 biblical principle.

Research Project Assignments (4)

The student will provide a 3,000–5,000-word paper in current APA format, complying with the formatting and content instructions.

Annotated Bibliography Assignment

The student will research at least 15 scholarly articles from peer-reviewed journals to establish research for the Final part of the Research Project. All references must be less than 5 years old. The student will use a provided template to annotate each source. The assignment must be in current APA format. The student will submit the final version of the Annotated Bibliography. The student must read all instructor feedback and implement it on future assignments.

Outline Assignment

The student will complete a full sentence Outline in preparation for the Final part of the Research Project. The Outline will include a thesis statement, the research questions/issues being addressed, how much space will be allotted to each section of the paper, and a preliminary reference list of at least 15 scholarly articles from peer-reviewed journals. The student will submit the final version of the Outline. The student must read all instructor feedback and implement it on future assignments.

Draft Assignment

The student will be responsible for constructing and reviewing the Draft. This assignment must be a full-length Draft of the 3,000–5,000-word paper in current APA format, including 15 scholarly articles from peer-reviewed journals and a title page, abstract, and reference page, which are not included in the word count.

Final Assignment

The student will be responsible for constructing and reviewing the Final. Using the preceding parts of the Research Project, the student will submit a final 3,000–5,000-word paper in current APA format, including 15 scholarly articles from peer-reviewed journals and a title page, abstract, and reference page, which are not included in the word count. The student will submit the Final.

Quiz: Research Project Topic Selection

The student will submit their proposed topic for the Research Project Final Assignment in this quiz. Submission should be 250-450 words. This quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 1 file-upload question, and have no time limit.

Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned module. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 12-15 multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a time limit of 50 minutes.
