LOCKDOWN is an experiment that the Spinner can select in social experiment . It was added in v1.2.0 on June 25th, 2022.

Pre-blackout

The LOCKDOWN experiment starts when several players are randomly selected to be hunters. They are given masks, flashlights, and axes to kill non-hunters. Hunters are locked in a cage above the spinner.

A 90-second countdown timer starts, giving non-hunters time to hide from the hunters.

The main part of the LOCKDOWN experiment starts when the timer reaches zero. All lights in the building will go out, leaving players in pitch black. An 85-second countdown timer marks how long the blackout lasts.

Hunters are freed out of the cage and free to roam around to kill non-hunters. However, they cannot open or close doors. This means the only safe place for non-hunters is closed rooms. Avatars of those killed during the blackout appear on the spinner.

During the blackout, players can interact with vending machines to obtain free food once.

Post-blackout

The LOCKDOWN experiment ends and all lights are turned on. Hunters turn into normal players, and all players that died before or during the blackout are revived.(YAYAYYAAYAYAYY)

Tips and tricks

• While closed rooms are the only absolute safe places for non-hunters, hunters tend to not check the Graveyard . Non-hunters can hide behind the graves to evade the hunters.
• The hunters' large axes allow them to kill players through the rooms' walls and doors. Non-hunters are advised to stay away from walls and doors during the blackout.
• Ghosts can open doors during the experiment. Some ghosts may open doors to troll the rooms' occupants, so it is best to always check if the doors are not open.
• Players are given the Hunter badge when they become hunters in this experiment.
• If a player was killed by a hunter, their death info will show their cause of death as " hunted ".
• While all ghosts are revived when the experiment ends, players who were killed in the blackout will have their streaks reset as a result of dying.

Upon joining a server for the first time or after death in another server, players can write what their tombstone will say if they later die. After that, they can pick one of the four teams to join: red, blue, yellow, and purple.

Main game [ ]

A wheel will constantly spin to select a spinner type. There are currently seventeen spinner types:

• Bat Handout: gives a baseball bat to whoever is picked by the spinner. The bat usually only knocks out other players temporarily.
• Knife Handout: gives a knife to whoever is picked by the spinner. The knife is a one-kill weapon and can be used to kill one player of the player's choice.
• Blood Rain: the spinner will decide on a randomly selected amount of blood (in-game currency). After that, rain drops will fall from the sky. The larger the drop is, the more blood it awards. Players can touch the drops to be given blood.
• Executor: allows a player to select someone else to be killed. The executor is selected when the spinner lands on them. If they do not select someone in time, the executor will be killed.
• Feeding time: all players enrolled in the experiment will be gifted food which increases the hunger need when eaten.
• Fight: a certain amount of players on a team will fight another team in an arena with knives to the death.
• Jackpot: A random amount of blood (in-game currency) is given to whoever is picked by the spinner.
• LOCKDOWN: a group of players from a team will be gifted weapons to attack any player for a certain amount of time. The rest of the players have to hide somewhere from the hunters to avoid being killed within 60 seconds before the lockdown starts. The hunters cannot open doors. During the lockdown, the power will be off.
• Mercy Cage: a certain amount of players are chosen to be placed in a cage. the rest of the players must decide whether they are spared or killed.
• Multi Kill: results in multiple people dying, ranging from a certain number of players in a group to a certain number of players in total.
• Random Execution: results in a random player killed when the spinner lands on them.
• Resurrection: brings back a random dead player when the spinner lands on them.
• Speed up Spinner: the spinner speed will increase.
• Time Bomb: players will pass a bomb to each other until the timer ends. Whoever is holding the bomb will die.
• Vote to Kill: allows players to vote for someone to be killed. The players who can be voted for can be a certain number of players in a group, a certain number of the youngest or oldest players (this is by account age), a certain number of random players, or all the players.
• Vote to Resurrect: allows players to vote for a dead player to be revived.
• Water Tank: a random number of players from a team or any team is placed into a tank. There is a timer until the tank opens to let the players out. Whenever a player presses the button outside the tank, the water inside the tank may rise.

Rarely, if a player is chosen for execution, their collar will not successfully explode, and they will survive. They will receive the "spared" badge if this happens.

When a player dies in a server, they will become a ghost and be permanently dead in that server until they get revived in a resurrection or after a lockdown. If the player rejoins the server they died in, they will return as a ghost.

When a player dies, other players can view their "death info" by toggling a prompt on the body, which shows the player's display name, their last words, how many rounds they survived, how long they had survived, how long it has been since their death, and their cause of death. A tombstone, which shows the same "death info" upon being toggled, will also be made for the player which are located around the outside of the map on the grass. Other players are able to place a rose on the grave.

The player's body will later be pulled away and placed in the incinerator. Above the incinerator there is a board that says "The Dead", which shows the most recent players who have died. The bodies in the incinerator are incinerated after a lockdown ends.

Additionally, there is a "Recent Death" board that shows occurring deaths.

Players can purchase different collars and room sceneries for prices of blood. Only three of each will be on sale for a certain amount of time, after which the shop resets and picks three random purchasable items of each category. A few purchasable items are for example:

• Farm - The room you are first greeted with when you join. FREE
• Forest - A perfect view of nature. - 3,000 Blood
• Ocean - Beautiful ocean view for your ocean side condo. - 5,000 Blood
• City - A simulated city so you can stop feeling lonely. - 7,000 Blood
• Moon - Proof the moon landing was real. - 15,000 Blood
• Default - The collar you automatically get when you first join. FREE
• Belt - Low budget collar but still works. - 2,000 Blood
• Flower - A simple flower necklace. - 3,000 Blood
• Spiked Collar - Wear this if you hate society. - 5,000 Blood
• Bear Trap - For legal reasons do not wear this in real life. 10,000 Blood
• Snake - A pet snake who doesn't completely trust you. 15,000 Blood
• Wire - Electrical engineers didn't put too much time into this although it gets the job done. - 25,000 Blood
