IGNOU Extends Assignment Submission Deadline Till Nov 30 For December Term End Exams

As per the new schedule, students can now submit their assignments by November 30 through the official website, ignou.ac.in.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for the submission of assignments for both ODL and online programmes for the December 2024 Term End Exams (TEE). As per the new schedule, students can now submit their assignments by November 30 through the official website, ignou.ac.in.
The official notification was shared on the University’s social media platform that read, “With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, December- 2024 for both ODL and Online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been further extended up to 30th November 2024."
How to submit IGNOU Assignments online?
Step 1: Head to the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, click on the IGNOU Assignment link.
Step 3: Next up, key in your login credentials and log in to the candidate’s profile.
Step 4: Upload your assignment on the portal and click on submit.
Step 5: Take a screenshot of the assignment submission receipt for future reference.
Notably, the university has also extended the deadline for submitting online test forms for the December 2024 term-end (TEE) for both ODL and online programmes. According to the new date, candidates can now submit their forms by November 3 without a late fee. Earlier the last date was October 28.
According to the official website, the December 2024 TEE will be administered on December 2. “Links for all the eligible students to submit examination forms (TEE, project submission, and practical examinations) for the December 2024 TEE Examination is also open, along with the schedule and the essential instructions/guidelines," the institute wrote.
The December TEE exams will be conducted for programmes such as Master of Science in Mathematics with Applications in Computer Science (MSc-MACS), Master of Science in Information Security (MSc-IS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Software Technology (PGDAST) among others.
Practical exams, on the other hand, will be conducted for programmes such as Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Certificate in Mobile Application Development (CMAD) and Core Banking System (CBS). The IGNOU Term End Examinations (TEE) are conducted for final year/ semester and intermediate year/ semester students.

The extension is given for all kinds of courses, ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB for December 2024 tern-end examination (TEE). Meanwhile, the Open University has also extended the last date to apply for fresh admission against the July 2024 academic year. Students intending to apply in the July 2024 session in the online distance learning (ODL) and online programmes will now get another fortnight to register. The last date now is October 15. Earlier, the last date to register for the ODL and online programmes was September 30.
IGNOU fresh admission form 2024: How to fill
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Register Online’ tab followed by ‘Fresh Admissions’ Step 3: Again, a candidate will see the option of the ‘New Registrations’ tab, click it. Step 4: Fill in all the required registration details Step 5: Set a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ Step 6: Fill in all the required information and upload all the documents asked by the University before clicking on the submit option. Step 7: With the login details received on the email ID and phone number, log in using the same and fill in all the details required Step 8: Select the programme to be studied Step 9: Submit the IGNOU registration form
The university in a post on the microblogging site notified the students about the extension of the last date for July 2024 Fresh Admission in respect of all programmes offered.
