Total: 80 10 30 40, date completed:, term 2 task 4 task 5 task 6, *orals: learners should do one listening, for comprehension (task1), one prepared, speech (task 4), and one unprepared, speech/prepared reading (task 7)., final examinations:, for more guidance on papers 1 to 3 for the, end-year exam, refer to dbe exam, guidelines 2021 and the atp., prepared speech, literature assignment, short transactional (80 – 100 words) based on, the literature text (20), contextual questions (15), paper 1: 80 (2 hours), #paper 2: 70 (2 ½ hours), total: 90 20 35 35, term 3 task 7 task 8 #test 1 could be set out of 40 marks or, if more, should be converted to 40 marks. while the, comprehension, summary, language structures and conventions combination is suggested,, teachers are urged to design a combination of aspects that fits the character (test programme,, time allocation, etc.) of the school. a test in the programme of assessment should not be made, up of several smaller tests. each test should cover a substantial amount of content, should be, set for 45-60 minutes, and should represent the different cognitive levels as set out for exam, test 1: can provide a full scale 80-mark test as follows: 1 hour session testing section a and, b (40 marks); 1 hour session testing section c (40 marks). then divide by 2 to bring to a total, # june exam: paper 2: if the school opted to do the two genres as prescribed concurrently,, the exam can be set on both genres. schools who opted to complete the two prescribed, genres consecutively during the year, must set the exam for 70 marks on the one genre, unprepared speech /, prepared reading, narrative/descriptive/discursive, 210 - 250 words, total: 70 20 50, term 4 task 9, end of the year examinations, paper 1 – language in context (80 marks) – 2 hrs.
